I’m not Irish, and for this reason typically don’t harbor that much love for St. Patrick’s Day. I will admit to loving Shamrock Shakes, but that is really as far as I go. We went to the parade this year, and it was mostly as expected to be. Very crowded. Not enough bathrooms for thousands of people. Oh yeah – and lots of beer. None of the beer was green, which was disappointing. All the above factors considered, the fact that any photos at all from the event have surfaced is quite amazing.

Here are some shots from the notorious Seaside Heights St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Meanwhile, check out our site – newly updated!

While it may seem like all I do is sunset photography – I try to mix it up every now and again when opportunities arise. The fact of the matter is, sunsets are easy to find and simple to pose. People are not. I would like to take this moment to announce that if you are in the NJ area, and need photos – Deep Six Photography is ready and available. Check out our site and what we do. If you dig us, drop us a line and we’ll work with you. Lucky for you I am posting some of our freshest portrait work right now so you can get a little taste.

John Poveromo is a local comedian (by local, I mean Toms River). He’s hysterical, and he was super fun to work with. We decided to do the photos in a playground, which kind of ended up creepy in some ways (we knew it might) but there are a ton of shots I really love. Check John out!

Anyway, if you’d like to see more, check out our full site – I’m going to put most of the series up! And if you need some photos – well.. you know who to call!
